Local Intellectual and Developmental Disability Authority (LIDDA) – Formerly MHMR
The entry point for Texas state-funded intellectual and developmental disability services. LIDDAs provide eligibility determination, service coordination, crisis support, and access to Medicaid waiver interest lists such as HCS, TxHmL, and CLASS. Families should contact their local LIDDA to begin the process of accessing long-term services and supports.
