Trusted Community & Referral Network

At Life Planning for Families of Special Needs, we understand that planning for a loved one with special needs requires a team approach. While our focus is life planning, we are proud to connect families with professionals and organizations who share our commitment to serving the special needs community.

We believe true support is built through community.

This page was created to serve two important purposes. First, to help families connect with trusted professionals who understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with caring for and planning for a loved one with special needs. Second, to create a space where families can support one another through professional services, business partnerships, shared experiences, and community involvement.

Over the years, we have seen the power of families helping families. When trusted professionals, advocates, business owners, and community members come together with a common purpose, individuals with special needs and their families are better equipped to thrive.

We hope this resource serves as a valuable connection point for the families we serve and the community that supports them.

A Community Supporting Community

This referral network is built on relationships, trust, and shared experiences. Many of the professionals featured here have been recommended by families we serve, trusted by our team, personally connected to the special needs community, or are themselves parents and family members of individuals with special needs.

Our goal is not simply to provide a directory of services. We strive to build a thoughtful network of professionals, organizations, and community partners who understand the unique challenges and opportunities that special needs families face. By sharing trusted resources and supporting one another, we can help strengthen families and foster a more connected community.

Because provider information, availability, and services can change over time, especially among residential providers, day programs, and community based organizations, this resource is continually evolving. While we review and update the information periodically, changes may occur between updates.

If you notice information that is inaccurate or outdated, or if you would like to recommend a professional for consideration, we would love to hear from you. Your feedback helps us keep this resource accurate, relevant, and valuable for the families who rely on it.
